Hey RACA fam!
AlysiaSimone, the beauty (if I do say so myself) and brains behind RACA here to wish you all a happy, healthy and safe new year. Can you believe it’s 2016 already? Time rell flying yes? Look February almost done already.
I do hope 2016 has found you all well. But much as folk like to declare “New year, new me!” and foresee all these great and wonderful things happening in the new year, life doesn’t always work that way sometimes. Many of us met 2016 with drama, heartache or illnesses. Many of us brought some 2015 foolishness into 2016 with us. But nah worry! Good news is it don’t have to stay that way. Everything happens for a reason and everything has its’ season. If you going through some thangs I encourage you to lean on your friends, family and faith to help you get through it. And also to dig in and do the work needed to get you over the hump. Faith without works is dead m’dear. (Shoutout to the Bible and The Walking Dead season premiere for that one)
As for me, I riding with my homie, Kerry-Ann of Carry On Friends who has declared 2016 to be a #BussOutYear. Claim it and make it happen people! Here a RACA we have big plans. Over the next few months we’ll be introducing a few new elements to the site, there are a couple of exciting collaborations in the works and overall we are upgrading our content and its’ delivery. So come rock wit we nuh? Trust, you won’t regret it.
